ട്രാൻസ്പോർട്ട് കമ്മീഷണർ എഡിജിപി ശ്രീജിത്തിന്റെ വാഹനമിടിച്ച് പരിക്കേറ്റ് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നയാൾ മരിച്ചു. പറന്തൽ പറപ്പെട്ടി മുല്ലശ്ശേരിൽ പത്മകുമാർ (48) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.

കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ ചികിത്സയിലിരിക്കെ ഇന്ന് രാവിലെയാണ് മരിച്ചത്.

നവംബർ 16ന് രാത്രി 8 മണിക്ക് പറന്തൽ വെച്ചായിരുന്നു അപകടം. റോഡ് മുറിച്ച് കടക്കുന്നതിനിടക്കാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്. പരിക്കേറ്റ പത്മകുമാർ ആദ്യം അടൂർ ഗവ ആശുപത്രിയിലും പിന്നീട് കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലും ചികിത്സ തേടിയിരുന്നു. കോട്ടയത്ത് ചികിത്സയിലിരിക്കെയാണ് മരണം സംഭവിച്ചത്.
